The Canefield

Married: October 10, 2021

I saw these two dancing at a wedding last year and I knew I had to be their wedding photographer.  The love and chemistry between these two was so evident that night.  When I saw Bailey’s Mom the next Sunday at church, I told her…. When Alysse & Bailey get engaged…. Please let me be the one to photograph their wedding!!  Not long after, my wish came true! Alysse’s Mom saw me at a junior high basketball game & told me Alysse & Bailey were getting engaged and they wanted me to photograph their wedding day!!  Eeeek!!!!! 

It’s been so fun working with these two. Their wedding day was everything I dreamed it would be.  Bailey & Alysse were married at The Canefield on a beautiful Sunday.  It wasn’t their original wedding date due to Hurricane Ida, but they couldn’t have asked for a better reschedule date.  The sky was blue & there was a light breeze. 

Pastor Matt Karns, from Living Word Church, did a beautiful job officiating the ceremony.  The couple had praise & worship before the ceremony.  They read their own vows to each other and committed their life to each other.  

The reception then followed inside for great food, visiting & some dancing.  It was a beautiful afternoon celebrating two becoming one.   

Alysse & Bailey, I’m so very thankful that you chose me to document your day.  You two made my wish come true!!  The Lord has a beautiful plan for the two of you and I’m so very thankful that I was there to document the beginning of it.
