I first met Kayla when I photographed her friends’ wedding in 2020 and then another friend in 2021. I instantly fell in love with her whole friend group. These girls are just the best of friends and I'm so honored that the Wayne family has chosen me to photograph their daughter's wedding.

Kayla & Dylan are just the sweetest couple. Their love for one another is so apparent. Their personalities, their kindness, their smiles… they are such a beautiful couple and definitely meant to be together. I can't even count how many times they told me thank you throughout the night.

I began my day with Kayla's parents' home. Hair and makeup were just finishing up and the home was filled with laughter & excitement. I was immediately greeted with familiar faces. After everyone was ready, we travelled to a nearby park for a first look with Kayla's Dad & grandmother. This was so very special and I'm so glad we planned enough time to make this happen.

Kayla & Dylan were married at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Kayla's first cousin was the priest that performed the ceremony. How special is that?? Father Gaudet did such a beautiful job. Once he pronounced Kayla & Dylan husband and wife, the church roared with applause and cheers. Everyone was so excited for these two.

The reception followed to Foundry on the Bayou. The Groove was ready to kick off the party. Family and friends were so excited to celebrate this precious couple. They visited and danced the night away. It was such a blast, and we all were smiling from ear to ear. At the end of the night, everyone wished them congratulations with a sparkler exit.

Kayla & Dylan, we cannot thank you enough for trusting us to document this day for you. We had the best time celebrating with you guys. Thank you for your overwhelming kindness.
