This was our last wedding of 2019 and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to end the year with. We started the day off at the beautiful Dansereau House in Thibodaux. Marie was so thrilled that her wedding day had finally arrived. She could barely contain her excitement.

One of my favorite things to experience at a wedding is a first look. It is so fun to witness a couple seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. We decided to have the first look on the balcony of the Dansereau House. They were both so overjoyed to see each other. I love watching a bride and groom really realize how much their life is about to change.

Marie & Caleb were married at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Nicholls State University’s campus. Father Mitch did a remarkable job getting to know the couple. He had the whole congregation laughing with stories of Marie & Caleb.

The reception followed to Rendezvous. Ta-Dah had the reception decorated top notch. The band, Velvet Sky, had guests dancing immediately. Family and friends were so excited to celebrate this precious couple. They visited and danced the night away. They ended the night with a confetti exit.

We have truly enjoyed working with Marie & Caleb. They have trusted us every step of the way. We are so grateful that they picked us to capture their amazing day. We cannot thank them enough for their overwhelming kindness. You made us feel like friends and not just photographers.
