Mr. & Mrs. Bourgeois
St. Joseph Co-Cathedral | Bourgeois Family Home
Married: October 16, 2021
When Bethany first called me to check my availability, we immediately hit it off. She scheduled a consultation to meet in person and I think we were at my studio for hours. As I got to know her more and more, we both knew it was meant to be! How could I not love her… my daughter has the same name!
Oh, what a beautiful day their wedding day was!!! A cool front past the night before and it was a perfect day to have an outdoor reception! When I arrived at Benton’s grandparents’ home, the decorators were putting the last-minute touches on everything and hair & makeup was finishing up. Bethany had so many sentimental touches to her day and really thought everything out. From wearing her Mom’s wedding shoes to a special patch from her uncle’s shirt, she had a piece of her loved ones with her the entire day.
Bethany & Benton were married at St. Joseph Co-Cathderal in Thibodaux. Father Carl added so many special touches to their ceremony. We stayed for formal portraits in the church after and then headed to Benton’s grandparents’ home for the reception. Lights were strung across the backyard and the tables were all set for a fun night of dancing & visiting. Bethany’s Dad sang for the couples first dance. The Groove got the party started and the dance floor wasn’t empty the entire night. One of my favorite moments during their reception was when their flower girl sang “Hurricane”.
Bethany & Benton, thank you so much for letting me be part of your amazing day! We had a blast celebrating with you and your beautiful family.
Here are a few of my favorites from your beautiful wedding day! Congratulations again!
