St. Joseph Co-Cathderal | The Oaks Venue

Married: May 4, 2024

Throughout my 17 years as a professional wedding photographer, I've been privileged to witness countless traditions. Yet, Daniel and Taylor's wedding is one that will forever hold a special place in my heart. Their love story moved me to tears countless times, and I feel incredibly fortunate that they chose me to document their beautiful day.

Daniel and Taylor's decision to have a first look before the ceremony was a brilliant choice. Witnessing Daniel's reaction upon seeing Taylor was truly unforgettable. After capturing some breathtaking portraits, we made our way to St. Joseph Co-Cathedral for the ceremony.

As the ceremony began, musicians sang "Goodness of God". I have never witnessed this before but the entire congregation began to sing. Daniel couldn't hold back the tears and I think everyone cried along with him. Father Ahimbisibwe officiated the ceremony with grace and eloquence. Before we knew it, they were pronounced husband and wife.

The reception followed to The Oaks Venue for a beautiful celebration of two different cultures. Daniel was born and raised in Uganda. As he shared his story, it is so evident that God has had his hand on Daniel's life and these two are truly meant to be together.

Daniel & Taylor, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to document your beautiful wedding day. I hope you are enjoying your first week as newlyweds. May the Lord continue to bless your marriage.

God Bless,

Crystal
