It’s always fun to photograph a wedding when you know some of the guests, but it’s really fun when you know the bride and some of your family is in the bridal party. I’ve known Hannah since she was a baby. From playing at her house as a child to her brother marrying my first cousin, we have known each other through so many walks of life. We see each other often at weddings and even have become crabbing buddies through the years. But most of all, I’m blessed to call Hannah one of my friends. She is the sweetest, most compassionate person I know and I’m beyond excited that she has found her soulmate. God has truly blessed Hannah with an amazing man who loves her and treats her like a queen.

Camron & Hannah were married at the beautiful St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland, LA. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the church. Hannah has been involved at St. Hilary since she was a little girl. Several priests and clergy were present for their ceremony. Hannah surprised her guests by offering a meditation of praise after communion. Maybe I am a little biased, but it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever been a part of. It was such a blessing witnessing two wonderful people coming together as one.

The reception followed to Warren J Harang Municipal Auditorium to celebrate. The Groove got the party started and I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty. My favorite moment was when Hannah surprised everyone and sang “Gangster’s Paradise”. The reception roared once the song ended, and it will be a moment I will never forget.

Camron & Hannah, we can never thank you enough for giving us the privilege to photograph your wedding day. We hope you guys have a wonderful time in the Florida Keys. Congratulations again! We are so very happy for you guys!
