Oh have I been looking forward to this wedding since Jessica & William emailed me back in April. I was over the moon to hear from them & that I was available for their wedding. I photographed Jessica's best friends wedding 11 years ago in New Orleans. Jessica's best friend, Breanna, married William's twin brother, Josh. Jessica & William weren't dating at the time but fate brought these two together.
Jessica & William live out of state so all of our communication was through email, phone calls or FaceTime. It has been so fun to catch up and plan for their BIG day. I was so excited to finally see them in person!
Jessica & William were married at Margaret Place in New Orleans. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. When Jessica walked out, I don't think there was a dry eye in the courtyard. A long time friend officiated the ceremony and these two finally became husband & wife. Kinfolk Brass Band kicked off the celebration and we second lined through the streets of New Orleans. Calfee Productions got the party started in the courtyard and everyone danced the night away. It was a night filled with so much joy! I loved being surrounded by all of their friends and family. Everyone was so very kind and fun!
Jessica & William, thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me into your life and choosing me to document such an important day. It is truly an honor and I don’t take it lightly.
