I’m so excited to finally share this amazing wedding with you all.  What a way to kick of 2021!!! 

I met Nicole when I photographed her brother’s wedding back in 2017 and I fell in love with the Haydel family immediately!  They are one of the sweetest families I have had the pleasure of working with.  When Nicole’s mom messaged me that Nicole was engaged, I was beyond excited to be working with them again.  

Nicole and Jared are such sweet couple.  Their love for one another is so apparent.  Their personalities, their kindness, their smiles… they are such a beautiful couple and definitely meant to be together. 

I began my day with Nicole at her godmothers home.  Hair and makeup were just finishing up and the home was filled with laughter & excitement.  I was immediately greeted with familiar faces.  I joked with Nicole’s godmother that she should rent her home for bridal prep.  It was the perfect location for the girls to get ready.  

Nicole & Jared were married at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.  Father Jay did a beautiful job on the ceremony.  I love how the church was still decorated for Christmas.  Many Catholic churches will leave up their nativity display until the 2nd weekend of the New Year. It was gorgeous!  

The reception followed to Ellendale Country Club.  Rouge Krewe was ready to kick off the party.  I was so excited to finally work with this new band and they didn’t disappoint.  I think my favorite memory from this reception is the song Nicole dedicated to her Dad, Tom Sawyer by Rush.  Rouge Krewe knocked it out the park and I will always think of this night wherever I hear this song now.  

To the Haydel Family, thank you for inviting me into your life so many years ago.  I can never thank you enough for trusting me to document both of your children’s weddings.  It truly is an honor.  

To the Falcon Family, it was a privilege to be part of such a special day.  You raised an amazing young man.  Thank you for allowing me to document your son’s beautiful day.  

Nicole & Jared, thank you… thank you… thank you!!!  You guys are an amazing couple and I know the future is so bright for the two of you.  Enjoy some of my favorites from your amazing day!  I hope you had a wonderful time in the Keys!
