Taylor & Sean kicked the year off & boy did they set the bar high. I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to start 2023 off for us. The entire day was jammed pack with fun!

I first met Sean when I took his high school senior portraits in 2017. I instantly fell in love with the Folse family. Later, I photographed his brother’s wedding in 2019. This is when I met Taylor. I remember thinking to myself, I want to photograph their wedding one day. The love and chemistry between these two were so evident then and I quickly saw how much these two love each other when I finally got the call they were engaged and then took their engagement portraits. I don’t think I have laughed and giggled with a couple as much as them. They are truly a joy to be around, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I had the honor to document their day.

When I first arrived on the wedding day, Sean had us all tearing up with his heartfelt notes that he has written Taylor every day. Every little detail was so very special and have meaning to these two. Taylor’s grandmother was her matron of honor, and I can see why. Taylor & her grandmother have such an amazing bond. Their connection and love for each other is truly a blessing to witness.

After getting ready, Taylor & Sean had a first look on the porch of Ducros Plantation. Sean’s reaction was priceless. He was overjoyed with excitement and by Taylor’s beauty. As I took portraits of these two, I became more and more convinced that Taylor & Sean are truly one of a kind. They are so very much in love, and it just radiates from them. These two are truly meant to be together.

Taylor & Sean were married at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Father Josh did a remarkable job as always. When Father Josh announced these two husband & wife, they sealed it with a handshake (LOL) & then with the best kiss ever! The congregation roared with laughter and then cheers for Mr. & Mrs. Folse!!

The reception followed to La Patiniore – The Rink. The band, Shorts in December, had guests dancing the night away. When feather boas were handed out, I knew it was going to be a blast. Everyone just smiled celebrating this precious couple.

It was such an honor to be asked to capture this beautiful day. I still pinch myself sometimes when I consider how amazing it is to be trusted with capturing someone’s wedding day. Thank you so much to the Charpentier & Folse family for trusting me. I cannot thank you enough. Enjoy reliving their wedding day through our eyes!
