The forecast the morning of Blake and Madilynn’s wedding wasn’t looking too promising, but thankfully, the rain held off for most of the day, and we were able to enjoy such a beautiful celebration without needing umbrellas!

It meant so much to me to be part of this day. I photographed Madilynn’s sister’s wedding last year, and I’m so thankful the Fanguy family trusted me again. And as if that didn’t make me feel at home enough, I actually went to school with Blake’s parents, so it was really special to see so many familiar faces throughout the day.

Blake started his coverage at the church with a great group of guys. Lots of laughter, stories, and excitement. Meanwhile, Madilynn got ready at her parents’ home, where she shared sweet first looks with her dad and her bridesmaids before we all headed to Cypress Columns for wedding party portraits.

The ceremony took place at St. Bernadette, beautifully officiated by Father Andre’. After family portraits, we made our way back to Cypress Columns for an evening full of dancing, amazing food, and so many fun touches: a surprise car, glowing light instruments, and a sparkler send-off to close the night.

Blake and Madilynn, thank you again for letting me be part of such a joyful day. I’m so thankful for y’all and your wonderful families! I hope you had a wonderful time in Tennessee. I hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your amazing day.
