First wedding of 2020 and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to start the year with. The girls started the day off at the newly remolded Courtyard Marriott in Houma. I love walking into a bridal suite and seeing familiar faces. I was welcomed with hugs and these girls were ready to get the party started.

What started out as a yucky morning, turned into a beautiful day. It was the perfect winter wedding. Elizabeth & Zackary were married at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. I loved how the church was still decorated for Christmas. Many Catholic churches will leave up their nativity displays until this coming Sunday, which is celebrated as the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord on the Sunday after Epiphany, which this year is Jan. 11th (Elizabeth & Zackary’s wedding day).

The reception followed to Cypress Columns in Gray. Family and friends were so excited to celebrate the newlyweds. Mrs. Sue at Cypress Columns informed us of a new fountain installed on the property. We took the couple out for a little fun and as soon as we started photographing, fog began to thicken. We got some really amazing shots and had a blast.

We had so much fun with Elizabeth and Zackary. It was so fun getting to see past clients and it was such a blessing to be a part of this day. Here are a few of our favorites from this amazing day! We hope you enjoy!
