I had been looking forward to Antonia and Cameron’s wedding ever since she booked with me in the fall of 2023. From the very beginning, Antonia was such a joy to work with. She is kind, thoughtful, and full of excitement. Once I photographed her bridal portraits, I knew her wedding day was going to be something special.

The day started at the sweetest Airbnb in Prairieville. It had so much charm and character, and it made the perfect backdrop for the girls to get ready. Everyone was in good spirits, and there was such an easy, happy energy in the room. Hair and makeup were wrapping up, and Antonia was surrounded by her girls, smiling and soaking it all in.

Some of my favorite moments from the day were the first looks. Antonia shared one with her dad that was emotional and tender, and then one with Cameron that was full of love and anticipation. It was clear that these two had been waiting for this moment for a long time, and seeing each other made everything feel real.

The ceremony was held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Gonzales, with Father Albert Blount officiating. It was beautiful, meaningful, and personal to them. As they walked down the aisle together as husband and wife, Cameron surprised everyone with a dip that made the whole church smile.

Rain started just as we were finishing up photos at the church, but it did not slow anyone down. We headed to Parc 73 for the reception, and as always, The Groove got the party started right away. At one point, a few bridal party members pulled out surprise wigs, and it took the dance floor energy to another level. Antonia and Cameron were lifted in chairs by their friends once the band started “Pink Pony.” I will always think of them when this song comes on now.

Thankfully, the rain let up at the end of the night, just in time for a sparkler exit and a sendoff in a classic car. It was the perfect way to wrap up a day full of joy, laughter, and genuine celebration.

Antonia and Cameron, I hope your honeymoon in Punta Cana was everything you hoped for. Thank you so much for trusting me to document this season of your lives. Here are just a few of my favorites from your wedding day. I hope they bring back all the best memories.
