I have been anticipating this wedding for some time now. If you know Emily & Hunter's story, it is a very special one. This couple has vowed for better or worse, before saying I do. Their love for each other is so evident.

Emily & Hunter’s original wedding date was postponed due to Hurricane Ida. Both of their families had lots of damage from the storm, so they decided to push the wedding back for a year. They couldn’t have asked for a better reschedule date. It was definitely a chilly, winter wedding they had hoped for.

Emily got ready at her future mother in laws home in Houma. Hunter got ready at the couple’s home in Thibodaux. Everyone was bursting with excitement for this precious couple. So many happy tears & laughter filled both homes.

Emily & Hunter were married at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Hunter’s reaction when he saw Emily was priceless. Father Andre did such a beautiful job as always. The church roared when Father Andre announced Emily & Hunter husband and wife. After family portraits, the couple exchanged private vows to each other. Their vows to each other were so touching. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the church.

We then traveled to the Event Center for a night filled with great food & fun. The DJ had everyone dancing the entire night and Emily got her wish…. She told Hunter that she would have “grocery store feet” when the night was over! The couple sealed the night with a sparkler exit.
