I have been looking forward to this wedding for some time now. Emily & Rhett were so fun for their engagement session, I knew they were going to be a blast on their wedding day. They surely didn’t disappoint.

Emily got ready at Nineteen06 in Patterson. I love this getting ready spot. So many fun spots to use. Rhett got ready at Doiron’s Bayou Retreat. Another great location to get ready. The grounds are so beautiful there. We all traveled to Atchafalaya at Idlewild for a first look. Rhett’s brother even got us a few golf carts to travel around. Rhett’s reaction was priceless. These two are so very sweet and were so fun to capture.

Emily & Rhett were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. It’s been a day so many family & friends have been waiting for. This precious couple have been dating for so many years and the day finally came. The ceremony was filled with lots of tears and laughter. After portraits in the church, the bridal party and family celebrated with a sparkler exit. We then traveled back to Atchafalaya at Idlewild for a night filled with great food & fun. The DJ had everyone dancing the entire night. The night really kicked off when the DJ announced LSU beat Alabama!! Not long after… everyone watched the Houston Astros win the world series! These diehard fans were ecstatic!!! It truly was a night to remember.
