There are some wedding days that just feel extra special, and Victoria and Thomas’s wedding day was one of them.

They are truly one of the sweetest couples. So sincere, so kind, and just genuinely wonderful to be around.

One of the greatest compliments we can receive as wedding photographers is being invited back by a family to capture the next chapter of their story. I have had the privilege of photographing the Bergeron family before, so being welcomed back for Victoria and Thomas’s celebration was such an honor. And they certainly did not disappoint!

The day kicked off early with hair and makeup, followed by beautiful gifts and heartfelt letters exchanged between Victoria and Thomas. Victoria received a beautiful tennis bracelet, while Thomas received a watch from his bride. Those quiet moments of anticipation and excitement were such a sweet way to begin the day.

Victoria and Thomas exchanged vows at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette with Father Don Bernard officiating. It was a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their family and friends and such a meaningful beginning to their marriage.

After the ceremony, everyone headed to Cajun Mansion in Youngsville to celebrate. The reception kicked off with a toast from the bridal party, followed by Victoria and Thomas cutting their wedding cake. Soul Survivors kept the dance floor going, and their guests definitely knew how to celebrate!

And then came the bubble exit! It was the perfect way to end the evening, surrounded by the people they love and headed into this next chapter together.

A huge congratulations to Victoria and Thomas, and to both of their amazing families. It was truly an honor to be part of such a beautiful day and to be welcomed back by the Bergeron family once again.
