Mr. & Mrs. Dorgan
Watermark
Married: March 8, 2025
Some wedding days go exactly as planned, and then there are the ones that turn into unforgettable adventures. Dallas and Tristan’s wedding was the perfect example of how love, support, and a little bit of quick thinking can turn unexpected challenges into something truly special.
Originally set to take place in St. Francisville, their wedding day took an unexpected turn just hours before the ceremony, leading to a last-minute venue change to The Watermark Hotel in Baton Rouge. Thanks to an incredible support system and Tristan’s connection to the hotel, their team pulled everything together beautifully.
Their ceremony took place in the hotel lobby, an intimate and heartfelt setting filled with their closest friends and family. Following the vows, guests enjoyed a cozy coffee hour while we captured family portraits, making for such a unique and personal touch. Then, it was time to celebrate. The reception, held downstairs, was full of energy and joy, thanks to Complete Weddings DJ, who got the party started and kept it going all night long.
Through it all, Dallas and Tristan handled everything with grace, love, and unwavering support for each other. If they can navigate a venue change just hours before saying "I do," they can truly take on anything together. Their wedding may not have gone exactly as they originally envisioned, but it was a testament to the power of love, family, and resilience.
Dallas and Tristan, your wedding day was proof that sometimes the best stories come from the unexpected. You have an incredible story to tell for years to come, and I have no doubt that your marriage will be just as strong and beautiful as the way you handled this day.
